"Give God What is RIGHT,

         not What is LEFT."   

I read it yesterday, and I was taken back at a story i read long time ago.

 

A young woman was thinking to consecrate herself to the Lord, but she thought she was too young...

so she waited.

and waited.

And she was no longer that  young...

 

One day, she got sick, and had to stay in the hospital.

A sister in the Lord came visiting her, brought her a bounquet of flowers,

but those flowers are no longer fresh, they are almost dead!

Angry was her first reaction, she asked the sister in high tone: "What do you mean by this?"

The sister replied in a loving manner, "I see you don't like the drooping flowers. Maybe God too."

All of a sudden, she was humbled...

And started praying for forgiveness to the Lord.

And of course, to consecrate herself...

 

Romans 12:1-2

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the compassions of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your intelligent service.

And be not conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
